What to Expect
Whether you’re a new or experienced hunter, we’re confident you’ll enjoy your bear hunting experience at Caribou Falls Lodge.
The forests and shorelines around Caribou Falls Lodge are popular feeding grounds for black bears, and our guides will help you harvest the perfect animal. They’ll set you up for success, doing all baiting, retrieval, and skinning.

What to Bring
Your bear hunting license will be provided, as will a conservation fishing license. However, you may want to consider packing the following:
Orange gear for travelling to and from the stand
Sunglasses
Flashlight
Sunscreen
Clothing for a variety of temperatures (hoodies, jackets, long pants, etc.)
Rain gear

In addition to the necessary licensing and tagging, which we provide for you, it’s recommended to keep the following Ontario black bear hunting specifications in mind:
Non-residents must fill out a firearms report for Customs
Bears can be hunted with a firearm or bow
