About Us
Come and fish with us for THE BEST fishing! We have many beloved return fishermen (and women!) that keep coming back for the best Canadian fishing experience. It's worth the drive!
Please keep abreast of border crossing regulations.
Our Location
Caribou Falls Lodge can be reached by road or by air (we invite guests to visit us on their floatplanes). Located on the English River System, our lodge is surrounded by shallow bays, rocky shorelines, and sandy beaches—the perfect habitat for your favourite fish. If you're driving up to see us, we are located about 1.5 hours north of Kenora, Ontario. Just punch in the grid reference on your GPS and it will take you right to us.
Fishing Map
The English River is brimming with great catches this year! Northwestern Ontario has never seen such spectacular first-class fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskie, Smallmouth Bass, and many more. With long stretches of river and lots of wild beauty to take in, we recommend taking a look at our fishing map to gain a better understanding of our location.
We highly recommend hiring a guide for your guided fishing trip to help you navigate the English River waterways, as there are no buoys or markings on the water. Fortunately, our guides are thoroughly versed in these waters.
Driving Directions
Take Highway 596 toward Minaki. At the Minaki junction, turn left onto Highway 525. Note that this is a paved road, except for the final ten miles. At the 17-mile mark, you’ll see Whitedog Dam. Cross the dam and continue until you encounter a fork in the road. Here, follow the “Caribou Falls Lodge” sign and turn right. Our driveway is located six miles past the turn-off and marked by a sign. Turn left onto the driveway and be prepared for a long driveway to our perfectly secluded location.
